Smugglers Notch Maple Bourbon
This quintessentially Vermont whiskey is made by infusing their gold medal 2016 World Spirits Competition award winning straight bourbon whiskey with 100% pure organic Vermont maple syrup that has been aged in their used bourbon barrels. This multi-step process requires invaluable time and patience to achieve a balance of rich and spicy, charred oak and sweet maple tones that overlay each other like a perfect fall Vermont mountain landscape.
This Maple Bourbon is bourbon forward with a hint of maple on the nose. Notes of honey and oak on entry give way to cinnamon, maple, and smoky vanilla flavors mid-palate. It finishes smooth with a sweet chaser.

WhistlePig 12 Year Old World Marriage
In the spring of 2014, Master Distiller Dave Pickerell began a unique experiment on the WhistlePig Farm. After studying the best techniques of the Old World – particularly Scotch whiskies – Dave and the WhistlePig team paired bonds of 12-year-old rye with premium European oak casks – Madeira, Sauternes, Port, Cognac, and Sherry. After a series of single finish releases and extensive industry feedback, the 12 Year Old World is the product of a carefully selected marriage of three finishes that highlights their distinctive flavors to create an exceptionally balanced spirit. The 2015 San Francisco Spirits Competition Double Gold award winning Old World Series unites the bold attributes of rye whiskey with the grace and elegance of the finest European casks, yielding an ultra-premium straight rye, distinctly American, but hearkening to its stately Old World roots.

Whistlepig Straight Rye 15 Year Old
Within this bottle is the culmination of years of patience – a liquid chosen from their finest stocks to be aged for more than a decade.
The first WhistlePig product aged in Vermont Estate Oak harvested right from their farm.
The harsh winters and short growing seasons in Vermont bestow a tight grain pattern upon our trees. Kentucky oak trees are fat. Vermont ones are tight. Tight wood delivers more flavor and depth.
The new Vermont Oak barrels receive a long toast and heavy char designed to draw out a rich sweetness to complement the natural spice of aged rye.
The final product mixes rye spice with wood sugar, earthy oakiness and lush citrus notes, all wrapped in a velvety smoothness unique to the finest aged spirits.
This Rye has been waiting for 15 years to reach your lips, and time is something that no amount of money can buy.
Just remember – tight is better than fat. And old is better than young. In whiskey at least.
